This is my first trip to Disney ever!! I'm so excited. I'm going with three friends and we're staying at Pop. I have so many questions and want to know everything...so if you have anything...tips, stories, advice, anything would be great. Also, I'm wondering about the bus stop and food court at Pop. Is there more than one bus stop. We're trying to figure out what time we need to be up and eating to get to the parks by 9. Is it a long wait? Thanx for any help you can give me...

Well depending on what you like we prefered the pool view, people complain about noise but it isnt that bad and its really nice to walk out your room and grab a table to sit down have a drink or eat breakfast near the pool. Crowd depends on what time of the year you are going. So if its offseason crowds are never bad. At night they will be bad if you go to a fireworks show or park closes, but that is to be expected and even then I have never had to wait too long, they are pretty good about sending extra buses.

If you get pool view at pop as well you are extremely close to the food court so thats a plus and the bus's as well.

Pop is my favorate value resort by far.

We love Pop, just be sure to ask for a courtyard room facing the pools!

have fun. Bus service from there has been excellent each of our trips.

I think you'll really like the Pop! :flower: The bus stops are at the front entrance, you can't miss them. And the food court was nice. I would probably request a room in the 60's or the 50's. The 60's is the premiere building but the 50's would actually be my choice. You can also request waterview rooms facing the lake. We really liked the transportation and had no complaints on Pop at all. We would stay there again.

We stayed in the 50's building @ the end next to the lake. At the end of the day we were so tired. The walk all the way back to the end was exhalsting. Also if you needed to go to the main building and back was alot of walking. This time I have requested 60's with pool view.

We stayed in the 70's with a lake view. It was a short walk to the main hall, no more than 4 or 5 minutes (pulling a 3 year old along). Next time I would request a room in the 50's. There is a pool there and it is just as close as the 60's I would say. The only thing is that the 60's are by far the "prettiest" buildings, I think. We never got up before 7 am and were always at the parks by 9. The wait times for getting a bus to the parks was minimal.

I'm staying at the POP too....just replying so I'll be subscribed.

Thanks!

I'll be staying at the POP for the first time. Usually I din't care what room I get. I will be going with my wife and 2 kids. Is there a certain building that I can request without paying for an upgrade? I will be arriving about 11am. Will they give me a choice if I request a 50's or 60's building? It looks like those are the best.
