Pop dining room refurb (fall 2024)

We just received an email that the food court will be under refurb during our trip (September). Wondering how big of a deal this is or not at all? We do eat at least one meal there a day.

We just received an email that the food court will be under refurb during our trip (September). Wondering how big of a deal this is or not at all? We do eat at least one meal there a day.

It depends on how they handle the refurb. They might do one counter at a time so the disruption would be minimal for most of it, or they could shut the whole thing down for the duration and ask you to go to AoA for dining. Did they mention in your email whether any dining would be available at Pop?

I haven’t received the email yet although I anticipate it coming as we’re visiting in late Aug and others have received it.

According to the email that was posted in the Pop thread, mobile ordering will be available plus the beverage stations and seating area will be open.

No official start or end date has been announced.

This refurb is desperately needed so while it won’t be fun I’m sure it will be well worth it once completed!!

The email mentions that mobile orders will be accepted with limited seating options.

Has Pop had a food court referb since it opened? I know Music and Sports had there big one in 2013/14. Movies never got one, but sounds like Movies is a complete shut down for the most part as drinks won't be there as they maybe redoing that along with carpet. I know Music and Sports have different drink fountains and no carpet.
