Pop connecting rooms

We are at Pop next week and have requested connecting rooms, actually we have three rooms and hope they are all at least side by side (5 pax, 2 + 2+ 1). What are our chances? Will they make an effort to assign us rooms in advance? I guess my question is, has anyone requested connecting rooms before and not gotten them? Thanks for any info, getting nervous!! Any words or advice to help me feel excited rather than nervous would be great! (first Value Resort experience and travelling with more than one room booked) Eeeeeeeeeee.

Yes, lots of people have requested connecting rooms and not gotten them. It's based on availability. We got our connecting rooms but I "think" it helped that we were one family unit with 2 parents and 3 kids and had to have 2 rooms because of the capacity at POFQ being only 4 to a room.

We have requested "connecting" rooms twice at Pop and got them each time. I always mention it again at check-in. We are a family with children as well.

We're an all adult family and have gotten connecting rooms without any problem. Even when one party was checking in a week after the first one.

Now, it can happen. And some will post on here that it has. There is a chance but Disney does their best. Just relax until you get down there. There's nothing you can do about it right now.
