Pop Check-in

Hi,
We will be staying a sat. night at OKW and then moving to the pop with dxddp. I understand we can check into the pop at 6:30 am to get our park tickets. Does everyone need to go to the pop and be present for check-in, or can my husband go check us in and come back to OKW?

Officially all of you have to be there because of the dining plan. I have had to point over to exDH/ DD before when checking in at ASMO because she needed to see all the members of the party. I didn't know why at the time but it seems people we add fake people onto their room to get extra dining plan credits,so at times they check. I paid for DLXDDP and it was not free dining but they still checked - free dining was going on at the time.

Yes, I've been asked if "everyone is here" before.

Hmm, I usually check in, while everyone else waits in the car. I've never been asked about the others in my package.

Did you have a package with free dining? It only seems to happen then. They started doing it because people were making up phantom children to get extra meal credits.

Yes, we do have free dining. I don't mind hauling the kids over to check in. I understand that people do dishonest things. If the room is not ready, I would get the KTW card with park tickets and dining credits when we check in?

I meant the question more for those saying that they had not needed everyone when they checked in, but knowing that you are on FD, I'd be safe and have everyone there.

We've always been able to get KTTW card (with park tickets and dinning credits on it) even if the room wasn't ready when we tried to check-in.
