We were at Pop just a few weeks ago and I noticed they were selling bottles of wine in the food court. Unfortunately, I don't recall the prices. We are heading on the Disney Cruise Labor Day weekend and are considering flying in a day earlier and staying at Pop (cheaper than staying at airport hotel). I want to grab wine to take on the cruise. We are using Disney transportation so a grocery stop is out of the question. Does anyone know how much a bottle of wine runs approximately? I know they had small ones and regular size full bottles. I am interested in the larger bottles. Thanks!

Based on prices for a full bottle at other counter service locations, I would say that they'll be in the $13 range. You may find better prices if you head over to Boardwalk area. I think it's called the Screen Door General Store and I know they had wine for sale there. They'll most likely have a larger selection and the prices are probably a little less expensive.

If you are hitting a park.... Go to Epcot, France and Germany both have decent wines and the prices were not dramatically higher then here at home....

Thanks! We won't be hitting a park. We don't arrive until early evening and we'll be head to DCL the following morning. I was just trying to see if I would be better off shipping it from home and having it at the resort waiting for me (I don't want to pack in our luggage) or buy it at PC.

I will be at Pop this Wed. and I'll check prices for you if you don't get any prices by them. I'll be back Sat.

You can also bring your wine with your from home and take it right on the plane. You just can't bring open containers. When we took our cruise, we were in the same boat (no pun ;) ) and brought a couple of bottles of liquor from home for the cruise. We just put them in a rolling cooler along with some water bottles. I also want to say they cannot be open when you check in for the cruise as well. We always fly with bottles of various things! The cooler always gets checked by TSA probably because its pretty heavy for such a small bag.

Oops, just saw your post that you don't want to pack it from home. Although that rolling cooler (its a firm soft sided type, got it at Sams) is very handy. And it made a great place to store souveniers for the return trip. I just would rather deal with that than the cost and hassle of shipping.
