We will be having two rooms at Pop and I love to decorate both windows.
It will be my grandson (5 yrs old)first trip to Disney and I like to make it a little more magical for him.
We will be going the first of March, so Flower and Garden time.
I just need some ideas please...Thanks!

Others will have much more creative & cute suggestions, but I enjoy easy no fuss decorations. Dollar store window clings themed to whatever season you stay (eg Halloween) are simple & inexpensive. I often travel in the Fall for Food & Wine so find a folding cardboard/tissue paper pumpkin or grapes on amazon. One vendor is Beistle? A small, inexpensive tinsel garland can be draped on the little ledge under the window or hung up with a few window catcher suction cups. I don't bring plug in or battery operated little lights but others do. As long as your decorations don't damage the glass or wall (no tape, no pins) & you remove them completely before you check out, you should be good to go. :)

I love decorating my windows at Pop! Last year I did a spur of the moment trip so I wasn't able to do decorations, and I can't find pictures from my first stay at Pop. I cut out Mickey heads, bows, and ear hats and hung them on ribbon. Then I used suction cup hooks to hang them up in my window. I also put up Christmas lights for at night. I even put Mickeys and Minnies all over my door - I just put magnets on the back (decently strong magnets).
We're staying again this summer and I'm thinking of bringing a black light for the window, and I'll make Mickey and Minnies, flowers, and Mickey peace signs to hang in the window and possibly paint them with black light reactive paint - so excited!

Here are some photos from our October stay at POR last fall. These were very fun to make, too! We got a corner room, so I'm glad I brought two different colors of lights, and enough decorations for both windows.

Last time we stayed at a resort that had front windows I bought window cling paper for my printer and printed out my own clings. I did the hotel logo, park logos, Mickeys, Flower and Garden Fest logos, etc. I wish I could find a picture.

No tape or tacks are permitted. You don't want to paint the windows either because that just leaves a mess for the Housekeepers to clean up.

Can you use tacky putty?
Party City has decade decorations from the 50's to the 80's. Too bad
we don't know what building we get in advance!

We use a theme each time.

We did Flower and Garden last year with friends, so our room was home base. We decorated it with Alice in Wonderland. Suction cups are your friend - dollar store. We had some items inside the room to decorate the table and dresser. We never do the door but if I did I would only use magnets.

OMG I love that! I wish I had found that because my sister loves Alice!
