We got back on Sunday night after 1 week at POP... loved it. Sent request to room assigner 4 days before leaving, got everything we asked for, and sent a thank you note on tuesday to let them know that we were grateful they met our requests. Pools were super warm, even my 1yo went in the water. Great clean hotel. Food court has toasters and microwaves for any budget-minded people. I did see the illuminations at 9pm from 4th floor of building 3 facing the lake. Very beautiful and LOUD. All positive reviews about POP.
L&M car rental: great, very affordable, no line ups, would definitely recommend to anyone flying in on weekends. All other lineups were about 45 minutes, hardly any wait for L&M. Super easy. And with a gold card, you decline all insurances and they also include a second driver ( must be a husband or wife, i think) for free. All other rental companies charge $8 per day for that!!!!
Vouchers: very hard to use with a 1 year old. We managed only because we had the vehicle. They were excellent at Pepper Market in Coronado Springs. We tried Beaches and Cream... not that great.... too small.... long wait. I don't recommend the vouchers used for anywhere except for Pepper market where variety was wonderful as was the staff. It was a lot easier to heat up food in the food court's microwave and use their toaster and free butter and jam for breakfast in the morning.
Overall.. we're going back again next year.
Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney... highly under-rated. By far, the best sandwiches ever. And very reasonably priced, esp for the budet-minded traveler.
