I got a letter from Disney today. I figured it was the "no refrigerator" letter. It wasn't....phew. it was a photopass letter regarding the 45 day expiration on your pictures.

Here now. Checked in yesterday. 50s building 3, 3rd floor, facing the lake. My requests were King Bed and top floor. Didn't get either at check in and were assigned 90s section. Asked for a different location closer to the lake and were granted that at least. CM wasn't happy about my requests though. Clean room. Small, but efficient. Still have old bedding. No working fridge. Went to guest services this afternoon to ask for a working fridge, was told probably not. Asked for my credit and was told they are no longer giving those because "it was a manufacturers and not disneys" to which I replied it was an amenity when I booked and either expected the fridge or the credit. She said she would see what she could do about getting a fridge. Don't know what happened, haven't been back to the room since. If we don't get one, I'll ask again tomorrow about the credit. Weather was great yesterday, just a bit warm. Today the morning was perfect in the morning but hasn't stopped raining since noon. Lucky for us we didn't have park plans that affected. It has been a really great trip thus far, very little crowds, walk on rides. Using a combination of fp+ and paper fp we have waited very little if at all and have done all the attractions we've wanted to, some twice. MB and fp+ are great and have really made this trip. I've used the mde app several times to check on lined while across the park and change fp times in seconds. It has saved lots of waiting time and headache.

I have a question regarding Magic Bands...how many days out do you receive notification that you have them on your reservation? I won't be going until the first week in December but after going last week I'm very anxious about being able to get one. I was starting to get jealous seeing all those that were part of the testing. TIA
