I got a letter from Disney today. I figured it was the "no refrigerator" letter. It wasn't....phew. it was a photopass letter regarding the 45 day expiration on your pictures.

I also got a letter, but it was my MyMagic+ invitation. It came regular mail instead of ups like others had reported before.

I just got back from a week at POP this morning and we did not have a working fridge in Building 2. They also did not give us the credit.

The day we checked in the computer system was down so they did not give us any choice of room and weren't able to immediately link anything to our MBs or KTTW. They were able to fix it that night before dinner, but I just thought others should be aware of potential glitches.

What's MyMagic+??

It's what Disney is calling all this NextGen stuff. The Magic Bands, FP+ etc. it's what it says I'm invited to test in the letter about my bands and FP+s.

Thanks! Does it mostly rain in the afternoons, or all day? Is it still good enough to poncho-up and keep going?

Here now. Checked in yesterday. 50s building 3, 3rd floor, facing the lake. My requests were King Bed and top floor. Didn't get either at check in and were assigned 90s section. Asked for a different location closer to the lake and were granted that at least. CM wasn't happy about my requests though.
Clean room. Small, but efficient. Still have old bedding. No working fridge. Went to guest services this afternoon to ask for a working fridge, was told probably not. Asked for my credit and was told they are no longer giving those because "it was a manufacturers and not disneys" to which I replied it was an amenity when I booked and either expected the fridge or the credit. She said she would see what she could do about getting a fridge. Don't know what happened, haven't been back to the room since. If we don't get one, I'll ask again tomorrow about the credit.

Weather was great yesterday, just a bit warm. Today the morning was perfect in the morning but hasn't stopped raining since noon. Lucky for us we didn't have park plans that affected.

It has been a really great trip thus far, very little crowds, walk on rides. Using a combination of fp+ and paper fp we have waited very little if at all and have done all the attractions we've wanted to, some twice.
MB and fp+ are great and have really made this trip. I've used the mde app several times to check on lined while across the park and change fp times in seconds. It has saved lots of waiting time and headache.

I won't be going until the first week in December but after going last week I'm very anxious about being able to get one. I was starting to get jealous seeing all those that were part of the testing. TIA

I will be at Pop in 2 days!!! I am so excited! I hope that the rain lets up just a bit and I also hope that no CMs give me attitude about the fridge lol. If I have no fridge, I will have to figure out how to make my own little makeshift cooler. It's not that big of a deal but I do want my credit.

I was never notified. No email no snail mail. I knew that pop was participating so I checked mde website daily to see if I was given the option to customize my magic bands. After several weeks of checking it gave me the option... maybe 6 weeks ago? Point is, don't rely on Disney to tell you, be proactive.

Noon today through all of tomorrow and Wed morning is the forecast for fairly solid rain. Normally this time of year it's an hour or so every afternoon. YMMV

Bizzare! We are at Pop right now in the 70's, ground floor. This morning as we were getting ready to leave some guys were putting refrigerators along the walkway outside the rooms. There were two fridges outside the rooms where the two room doors are side by side, if you get what I mean. I got excited and joked with the delivery guys that they could come on in right now. They said they were just staging them. I assumed they would be installed by someone else later today. Soooooo......we just got back and we don't have a new (or working) fridge. The old one (unplugged) is still in our room. Very strange. The fridges were not in boxes. I wonder what happened to them.

I've had my Magic Bands for a week now and just got my invite in the mail today.
