Checked in yesterday for our first stay at POP and all I can say is WOW!!! Check-in was super quick(we did online so everything was ready when we arrived) Magic Bands are working great and easy to use Super friendly staff and guests Working fridge in our room Fireworks can be seen from our balcony No bounceback in our room package so I will call about that before we leave Life is good!!!

What section/building can you see the fireworks from? I think most nights we'll be out anyways, but it's handy info just in case!!

We had a 4th floor lakeview room in the 60's and could see fireworks! Not sure what park they were from.

Just returned yesterday from a 6 night stay - 50's section, building 1 - NO new bedding, NO refrigerator.

Room was clean, CMs were friendly. BUT - we've decided that the smallness of the rooms coupled with the uncomfortable beds and loudness of toilets/showers, wildness in the food court with everyone jockeying for position to fill their mugs - need to go to station to station if everyone in your party doesn't want to eat the same stuff - WELLL ....we probably won't be back (this was our 3rd stay )

We also had trouble getting luggage assistance - and that was a bummer too at check out .

ON the good side - no snakes or bug problems. Petals pool bar was a great spot to relax in the evening - bus service was good. I guess we've just become spoiled by mods and deluxe - so long Pop

We're heading there on Tuesday also! (And I'm also from upstate NY )

Awesome! We don't land till night (730ish) but at least we know for sure our room should be ready (syracuse had an early direct flight but its not running anymore/right now but at least we can rest before we take off this time). It might be humid and warm but its 40 here right now so I'll take it (though I'll be praying for 40 come January. funny how 40-60 is warm in the early spring but cold in the fall )

Just got back from Pop on Saturday. Catching up but in case, fridges in the 4000 section of the 60's were being installed. We had asked for the $15 credit and they sent up a fridge instead.

Yay!! As much as I'd like the $90 credit, I really hope the fridges are replaced in the next few weeks. Are the new fridges in the cabinet, or next to the dresser?

Hoping for a fridge but will not be asking for a credit. Disney didn't remove the fridges to remove an amenity but rather in response to a safety issue.

Well that's very generous of you but the cost of the refrigerator is built into the price you pay for the room whether you have a working fridge or not. They wouldn't give anyone a refund if they didn't know that people deserved it.

My intention isn't to be "generous" - and I don't think guests who ask for a refund are being non-generous.
