OK JUST GOT BACK YESTERDAY from our 7 night stay at POP! Here goes my review (please keep in mind how much I dislike saying anything negative about pop but I'm going to lay it all out there just cause I know how much I appreciated all the 411 I have gotten from this thread prior to my trip

)
I'LL BEGIN- with the Food Court. Crazy packed at all times, at some points I wanted to throw my morning bagel at some of the rude people who try to cut you in line. In reading so many poor reviews I kept in mind that the few times I did stop there was for a burger, nachos or breakfast. This is exactly what I did, but have to say the Burger was the most disgusting thing on earth. IT WAS PINK, my entire family's burger was undercooked. They actually just pull them right out of this warming can things as if their pulling out a steamed hot dog BARF

Ok no worries, this won't spoil my vaca! Nachos & breakfast were good, not wow but not bad either! That's all I can say for food since those are all we tried.
OUR FRIDGE- was plugged in by previous guest but with note saying not to use. The day before I left, I kindly asked if I could get a fridge credit & had no problems at all, 15 per day refund, very generous if you ask me

PARKS- also a bit crowded but I've been where it was actually crazier so I could deal.
MAGIC BANDS- I was very hesitant about this. I tried convincing hubby not to get these but have to say that I'm sooo glad we got these. Doing those fast passes ahead of time with a 2 yr old is VERY convenient!! Not having to pull your card out of your wallet every time you need to check into a park, or purchase food, drinks, this made life sooo much easier.
WEATHER- I'm from up north & so not used to the crazy humidity

lol wow it was humid & sticky, it also down poured 2-3 times but briefly. So, ponchos are a good idea to throw in your bag.
BEDS- Very firm but not good firm, they were stiff & oddly conformed to your body so you wake up with a sore back. At least we did. The comforters were new, just plain white & lighter, compared to the dark bulky older ones but either way I pulled them off cause I always bring my own, I don't like the idea of knowing millions of people use those blankets & do God knows what, call me crazy but that's me LOL.
FINALLY- 3 BIG THINGS with my OCD is wherever I stay it must be CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! The minute I walked in the room, it smelled superior! Everything looked spectacular (mind you I clean for a living so I know cleanliness

)
Everything went fine until my last day, I go pack. I grab my opened suit case & running across it was the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in my entire life

. I know some of you may thinkso what? Why come to a tropical climate if your gonna freak over bugs? don't ya know Florida is crawling with bugs. Well, I love WDW! & it's located in Florida so if I want to visit wdw; well, I have to go to Florida! I'm from up North so coming across those things are farrrrr & feww where I'm from. On top of that I just really hate creepy crawlers.. I jumped like a baby, freaked out & had to kill this thing myself. Now, in kicks my ocd on the plane as I'm now planning that no luggage is to go into my house. We get home, I separate all the laundry outside, take it to a laundry mat, power wash all the suitcases . Call me crazy but the thought that a GIANT roach was running all over my stuff & suitcases just gives me the heebeeegeebees!!
I really hate to put anything negative about pop, & fully understand it's a tropical climate & well, it happens! but man did this freak me out. Will this stop me from visiting Pop? No, it could happen at any location just wish it never happened to me, ewwwww. For anyone curious, I was in the 60's 2nd floor, Jungle book's Big Baloo Icon lakeview.
Aside from that we really had a blast, pool every day it wa fun & entertaining, downtown, parks, all a blast, all our adr were awesome, great times.
