FP+ @ BOG isn't quite the same as attraction FP+. It's more like a separate dining reservation - quick service lunch only. It can be reserved @ http://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com using your 10 digit Magical Express number (if you have it) or your 10 digit resort confirmation # available on your Magicbands page (if you have those).

This is currently the only quick service restaurant to offer FP+ reservations, and it's for lunch only (BOG is table service for dinner).

Oh. Thanks. That sounds nice. Because I was thinking I'd have to rush to get in line for lunch there. Is Disney just tryin it out or is it a permanent thing? This is first I'd heard of it.

Can I make reservations now for November?

Ugh- we check in on the 7th and still no magic bands. I guess I will call this afternoon.

OK JUST GOT BACK YESTERDAY from our 7 night stay at POP! Here goes my review (please keep in mind how much I dislike saying anything negative about pop but I'm going to lay it all out there just cause I know how much I appreciated all the 411 I have gotten from this thread prior to my trip:teacher:)

I'LL BEGIN- with the Food Court. Crazy packed at all times, at some points I wanted to throw my morning bagel at some of the rude people who try to cut you in line. In reading so many poor reviews I kept in mind that the few times I did stop there was for a burger, nachos or breakfast. This is exactly what I did, but have to say the Burger was the most disgusting thing on earth. IT WAS PINK, my entire family's burger was undercooked. They actually just pull them right out of this warming can things as if their pulling out a steamed hot dog BARF:crazy2: Ok no worries, this won't spoil my vaca! Nachos & breakfast were good, not wow but not bad either! That's all I can say for food since those are all we tried.
OUR FRIDGE- was plugged in by previous guest but with note saying not to use. The day before I left, I kindly asked if I could get a fridge credit & had no problems at all, 15 per day refund, very generous if you ask me:goodvibes
PARKS- also a bit crowded but I've been where it was actually crazier so I could deal.
MAGIC BANDS- I was very hesitant about this. I tried convincing hubby not to get these but have to say that I'm sooo glad we got these. Doing those fast passes ahead of time with a 2 yr old is VERY convenient!! Not having to pull your card out of your wallet every time you need to check into a park, or purchase food, drinks, this made life sooo much easier.
WEATHER- I'm from up north & so not used to the crazy humidity:headache: lol wow it was humid & sticky, it also down poured 2-3 times but briefly. So, ponchos are a good idea to throw in your bag.
BEDS- Very firm but not good firm, they were stiff & oddly conformed to your body so you wake up with a sore back. At least we did. The comforters were new, just plain white & lighter, compared to the dark bulky older ones but either way I pulled them off cause I always bring my own, I don't like the idea of knowing millions of people use those blankets & do God knows what, call me crazy but that's me LOL.

FINALLY- 3 BIG THINGS with my OCD is wherever I stay it must be CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! The minute I walked in the room, it smelled superior! Everything looked spectacular (mind you I clean for a living so I know cleanliness:laundy:)
Everything went fine until my last day, I go pack. I grab my opened suit case & running across it was the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in my entire life :scared1:. I know some of you may thinkso what? Why come to a tropical climate if your gonna freak over bugs? don't ya know Florida is crawling with bugs. Well, I love WDW! & it's located in Florida so if I want to visit wdw; well, I have to go to Florida! I'm from up North so coming across those things are farrrrr & feww where I'm from. On top of that I just really hate creepy crawlers.. I jumped like a baby, freaked out & had to kill this thing myself. Now, in kicks my ocd on the plane as I'm now planning that no luggage is to go into my house. We get home, I separate all the laundry outside, take it to a laundry mat, power wash all the suitcases . Call me crazy but the thought that a GIANT roach was running all over my stuff & suitcases just gives me the heebeeegeebees!!
I really hate to put anything negative about pop, & fully understand it's a tropical climate & well, it happens! but man did this freak me out. Will this stop me from visiting Pop? No, it could happen at any location just wish it never happened to me, ewwwww. For anyone curious, I was in the 60's 2nd floor, Jungle book's Big Baloo Icon lakeview.
Aside from that we really had a blast, pool every day it wa fun & entertaining, downtown, parks, all a blast, all our adr were awesome, great times.

Thank you so much for the review. :)

Same thing happened to me with the roach incident!!! On our last night at Pop I noticed a roach scurrying about near my towels. I too get grossed out by then as we live up north and a roach equates to "dirty", whereas in FL it's usually because of the climate. I'm wondering if Pop has an infestation of them or what, but I didn't see any at the other hotels I've stayed at in DTD 3X prior. We too separated our things outside and want thru the bags before bringing them in the house. Not what I wanted to do right when I got home..lol

i've actually shortened even more, but here is what it looks like on the end now...
Thanks for sharing, I like how you kept the gray but still made it less bulky.

ok just got back yesterday from our 7 night stay at pop! Here goes my review (please keep in mind how much i dislike saying anything negative about pop but i'm going to lay it all out there just cause i know how much i appreciated all the 411 i have gotten from this thread prior to my trip:teacher:)
Thanks for sharing your experience. We always stay at the Value resorts and I REFUSE to go to the food court in the morning. I just can't handle the chaos and it just spoils my magical Disney mood for the entire day so I just avoid the whole situation. But the food not being cooked is a different story - yuk.

I really hope all the rooms have the new comforters by our stay in October. :) I also kind of hope the fridges are not replaced because $15 a night would be a nice refund if we could get it.

Glad you enjoyed your trip and thanks again.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. We booked in February and I haven't gotten a letter from Disney about the fridges, soooo....

Anyone know what the wait is like at BOG for lunch?

This past June when I went, the line was over the bridge past the check-in station and my wait was about 25 minutes from entering the line to the ordering stations. I think the line moves pretty fast.

Mickey Mail and ME paper work arrived today for 10/24 check in. Now just waiting for MB's which should come next week. So excited!!:cool1:

Can some one please tell a Disney newbe what is this mickey mail you talk of?

Mickey mail can refer to a packet from Disney's Magical Express service or it can refer to the resort package mailing that includes your souvenir luggage tags and discount vouchers. :goodvibes

O'good that's what I got. Now I have another question. Do u use the tags to have luggage took to your room or are they for people that fly in to get luggage delivered to the resort/room or both? Thinks for the reply.

With the revised menu at the food court, did that also bring silverware & plates like they had at AOA? Wishful thinking, but thought it was a nice touch there!

Yay!!! So MB's today (still haven't shipped), but I just booked BOG for lunch on October 22nd! :cheer2: Now if Wishes & MSEP become available for October 21st, I will be completely over the moon!

Oh, what time is your fp for BOG? We are going that day too! Our check in times are 12:05 - 12:20. I'm getting sooooo excited!

The hard plastic Mickey tags are just for fun and don't do anything other than just label your bag. If you are flying into MCO and want to have Magical Express take your bags to your resort, you need to put the long yellow strip tags on each of your checked bags. Those come only with Magical Express bookings.

No, the POP food court is still using disposable plates & plasticware. I would imagine they would have to do a major overhaul of. The food court to switch those items over because they would need to have commercial dishwashers for all of those items. And that would be quite a bite of work to put those in to wash all those extra plates & silverware.
