POP in and choose food from any of 7 stations: grab ’n’ go items, grill fare, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, healthy choices and ethnic cuisine. Specialties include oven-fired flatbreads, lo mein, pan-seared fish and house-made desserts.

We are here now and just realized they don't have the Moms night out anymore! Don't know how I missed that news, but wow! We have sampled a few items and sad to say we are sticking to eating in the parks. It's nice that they want healthy options, but when I'm on vacation, I want to eat whatever I want lol! I can eat healthy at home. Moms night out was a big reason we stayed here, but it looks like we will be looking for something new.

In some ways that new Mickey Check sucks! It has kept some great options off of the new menus for silly reasons IMHO. I understand about offering healthy options but do that have to get rid of ALL of the old CLASSICS?? It's a real bummer!!

Agree with you both...why not keep some of oldies but goodies, right? Offer healthier options sure, but don't eliminate the classics -- give people the option... these classics are what make POP different from say another food court and IMO Disney should not take all the individuality away from each resort... whether it be the food menu.. or say frozen coke machine, goofy POP jets...

Me too!!! Mother Daughter trip (celebrating her 13 b-day) ... First time in May, checking in on the 14! I have stayed at POP before and my daughter and I loved it. Have fun.

YES! It's nice to have the option to eat how I would like to eat and not find the same things everywhere! The resorts should have their own things to encourage people to stay and not be cut from the same rotisserie chicken cookie cutter! Wait. . . Are cookies part of the Mickey Check?

For those currently at Pop or who have been there recently. Can you tell me if they sell 1/2 gallon of milk, cream cheese & box of donuts/bag of bagels? We are staying on Disney property for the 1st time, checking in on the 15th & ideally would like to eat breakfast inside our room to save time/money. We are flying in so bringing milk, cream cheese, etc is not an option.

Yes they sell half gallon jugs of milk, small pkg of cream cheese, and they had boxes of donuts in March (didn't chech for them last week) and I don't ever recall seeing bags of bagels. I only recall seeing bagels sold individually....but I could be wrong!

They are 7 and 4 and will flip out! I think I'm going to give ODS a suitcase and tell him to open it up and then have a sign in there that says "Get packed.. we are going to Disney World Tomorrow!"

Oh I've almost blown it a 1000 times. My husband and I even talk about the trip right in front of them. LOL My 7 year old is always oblivious, so they don't have a clue.

We've been talking a lot about our trip to the farm in Iowa to visit family. That is in June, so that has kept me from blabbing a bit.

So you were in line to check in at Pop and they asked if you wanted to move over to AoA? While I love Pop, I'd take that offer if just for the pool area at AoA.

I agree with you about Test Track. When we "rode" it in March, I was disappointed and thought it was ruined. Bring back Bill McKim!!!!!

Yea, it was at check in. We were basically done and he came over. Nice way to start a vacation!

Nice! We're here at Pop now, just the two of us, but we didn't get offered to switch. I'd have jumped at the chance! We walked over last night though to check it out and it looks fantastic! I'm also envious that their food court has Sprite Zero! Enjoy your trip

How was your trip?! I'm sure they didn't do too many (Wanted to keep a few open for walk ins/last min booking). Not sure how we got chosen! At checkout, I asked and he said they were at 94% capacity (Probably higher the further you go into May)

Congrats!! As Sandi posted, as much as I love POP I would jump on getting a chance to stay at AoA...LM room too....the pool area is fabulous! Enjoy!

LM was nice. We also got a King bed, which made the rather small rooms feel a lot bigger. Does AoA have more kings in the LM section than Pop? Also, we had a pool view. Is that "premium" like at Pop? Guess I should go to the AoA thread to ask these questions

Kim, Call them right away. Tonight if possible. They should still be able to get them to you in time. If you booked a package, your extras are also in that envelope, so call asap! They close at 10 or 11 I believe-

I'm going through the same thing. We will be at POP Sept 7-14 for ds 6th birthday! It's a surprise go he and dd7. This will be our 3rd trip since 2009 and we just keep saying things like "we want to do that if we ever get to go back again". It's killing me though and we have 4 long months to keep the secret.

OH! I can answer this as I booked a last minute trip to see DD who is a CM and there just wasn't enough time to get the luggage tags and the pass for ME so I am speaking from first hand experience last week!!!
When you get to the airport, you do not need to pick up your luggage. Just proceed to the ME area but you will have to stop and check in at the ME counter. At the counter, give them your baggage check claim and they will call over to have your bags pulled. They will AND SHOULD give your baggage claim check receipt back to you!! Your luggage will get pulled and tagged (the tags will just be white instead of yellow now) and they will then print you a boarding pass for ME right then and there and send your on your way! Simple as that. It does take a few extra minutes whereas if you have your ME bus boarding pass you can go ahead and skip this check in line and get sent directly to a bus line but it's not the end of the world. You will still get to use ME and you don't need to pull your own luggage. Mine arrived safely and just fine. I was a little worried about the luggage part. I've never not used the yellow luggage tags!! But all was well and ended well!! HTH and I hope you enjoy your trip!!

We...or at least I...are bursting to tell our son as well . We leave on Friday and are keeping it a surprise until the day we leave. We have had to catch ourselves mid-sentence a lot lately...LOL!!

No LM standard don't have premium or "views" like POP. Probably because they are all far from the main building.
