Pop Century to Epcot Resorts

Can anyone tell me the quickest route from Pop Century to the Boardwalk area? We want to tour the resorts there to see the Xmas decorations and catch a meal at Beaches & Cream the day we arrive.

I'd recommend taking the bus to MGM, then catching the boat from there . The boat ride is lovely and relaxing, and a nice way to arrive.
