Pop Century surprises?

My wife, who is wheelchair bound, and myself are staying at Pop from 30 Dec - 3 Jan. We’ve not been to WDW or Pop since before her injury in 2016, and we’re wondering if we’ll be walking into any surprises.
I am watching all of the videos I can find about the Skyliner, and we’re looking forward to riding it.
I understand that they’ve instituted a parking fee but, with our handicap placard from our home state in our rental minivan that won apply. Do I have that right?
Happy to say, we booked through Dreams Unlimited again.

Correct. But you may want to check with the front desk to be sure they know about it. Some folks have been incorrectly charged in the past. Disney is good at correcting these errors when reported.

Riding the skyliner in a wheelchair - when you get thru the line, cast members will have you wait in an area and pull a car off the main line. Your car will be completely stopped and you can take your time loading - the wheelchair will have blocks behind wheels and then your car will be put back on main line.

Do you require a handicap accessible room? The beds and sink in bathroom, allows you to roll up to it. There are a limited number of these rooms.i
