Well you can always ask for compensation, we’ve received compensation from Disney when our room wasn’t ready on time. But expecting additional time on checkout is never going to happen.Well of course not. I mean, what if to say that you don't get your room till 6 pm? At what point does one expect some sort of compensation for not getting what they paid for?
Also, as others have pointed out, you can always go to the desk earlier and see if other rooms are ready. It’s one of the downfalls of making room requests as it locks you into that room regardless of its cleaning schedule. If you’re more flexible in your room, you can almost always get a room early going to the desk.
