HI Everyone!! NEW HERE!! im so excited.. going to Disney Sept 27- Oct 5th.. me, my husband 2 children ( 8) & (2) & my Parents
Any advice on this Hotel we chose?? its the Value one but we wanted to save money this time... Advice on going in September?? Or going with a 2 Yr Old??? THANKS IN ADVANCE

We love Pop, we have stayed there several times. Its a great value resort and pretty centrally located. Did you book with one of the specialist out there now (free dining, room discount, etc)? Great decor for kids, but rooms are a bit small, I am guessing you went with 2 rooms, may want to make sure they have request for connecting, that will give you a little more space to spread out and relax while little one is resting.

September is a great time to visit, one of the slowest months of the year. It still can be very very hot so stay hydrated and try to plan most activities for mornigns or evenings to avoid the mid day heat. With a 2 yr old a nap will be a must so I would plan to head back to the resort and relax during that time. Maybe parents (or grands) can switch off and some days take the 8 yr old to the pool while little one naps, but we have had our 8 yr old nap often too during our breaks.

Also September is 'free dining' time and if you plan on eating at any of the Table Service restraunst you need to make ADR (advance dinner reservations) now! They fill up fast and it can be next to impossible to find a place with availability same day.

Thanks Pirate-girl!! great Advice!!
WE did book the Free dining. i cant BELIEVE the great deal we got. this is why we chose the POP century because of the great deal ..

Just saw your post....we are staying at POP as well, Sept 18-26th. Got 2 connecting rooms, just like you did. We stayed there last year too & LOVED it!

If you can, request rooms in the 60's section...it is closest to the main building & bus stops. I have heard they can't always 'guarantee' a particular section, but I am quite sure they make every effort.

Like Pirate Girl said, book your dining NOW! Don't delay! Make sure you take advantage of the character dining...the kids will love it & so will the grown-ups. Not sure if you have boys/girls/1 of each, but I would definitely do Chef Mickey's. If you have a girl, 1900 Park Fare is a great choice, as is Princess StoryBook Dining in Epcot.

Feel free to message me if you have any aother Q's!
