Just checked in! Room 4444 is updated. Has the new inlay floor decoration and curtains!

Yep - looks like block 4 has reopened within the past couple of days. Was under construction when we arrived Friday/

We requested a building 4 upper lake view and is exactly what we got. Did a touring plans and phone call. Fingers crossed for you too.

Awesome! Our Touring Plans request gets sent today. I requested rooms in Building 4, facing the lake as we are booked in standard view. We always have great luck getting what we requested or very close to it at Pop. Enjoy your trip!

I faxed in a second request and apologized for not realizing building 5 is under construction. I asked for pretty much the same thing (ground floor facing the lake) but for building 4 now. Seems like that is a popular choice, so we will see! Checking in on Wednesday 8/20

6 yes, 10 no, If they continue to go in numerical order.

The last building is not scheduled to be complete until end of Feb 2026.

If they change the order they are doing the refurbishments and move from 6 to 10 (which could make sense as bldg 10 is closer to 6 than it is to 7, it could be done by the end of the year.

Room Renovation Update:

The base of the T portion of building 5 (rooms 25-48) are complete and, the base of the T of building 6 is now closed and renovations have started in building 6.



All rooms facing the Hippy Dippy Pool and splash pad are still closed and actively being worked on. (The rooms all have the lights on and paperwork in the windows.

Building 5 Update:

As quick as I post, another update!!

Building 5, Preferred Pool View Rooms are very close to re-opening!!

Work papers have been removed from many windows but the wing is still closed as can be seen by the sign in the bottom, right of this photo.


I will continue to monitor while I’m here.

(To keep this thread current, I think I should permanently move to Pop! )

There are hundreds of reports in the first post.

What types of pictures are you looking for? Have you reviewed the Pop Century thread? There are many pictures there although I still need to update a few of the pictures on page 1 with pictures of the new curtains, flooring and garbage pails in renovated rooms but changes are minor.

I was wondering 1) how the main building lobby refurb is coming along, and 2) if building 6 is done yet, or how it's looking over in the building 6 grounds area, construction equipment-wise etc.

I usually request building 6 but may make a change if that area is still a construction zone. Honestly, just getting excited for the trip and thankful for your info on all Pop Century threads!
