Pop Century Question

We have never stayed at Pop Century and are thinking of staying there during our next trip to Disney. Can anyone tell me if the beds can be moved so the side is up against the wall? I have read you can request bed rails but before I get into that I wanted to see if they could be moved.

I was told that the beds are on stationary pedastals so you cant move them

The beds are on platforms and will not move.

Darn! Can you request bed rails at Pop or would have have to rent one from an outside rental company?

We were there in Sept. We requested 2 bedrails when we were checking in. And got both...of course,no request is guaranteed.

Well...we were there last week and my bed was really "wonky" - the box spring and mattress did not seem to be lining up with the headboard. So, I asked DH to help me and we lifted up the two and found that the wooden platform (it's just a hollow 4-sided box) was not in line...we shifted it over and put the mattress back down on top...no problem. So, yes...it's doable with two fairly strong people.

You may want to look at one of the All Stars, I hear the beds do move there.

So the wooden platform is not attached to the headboard (that is attached to the wall) and could be moved if need be?

Not attached to the headboard, DH pulled the "box" across the floor while I held up the mattresses.
