Pop Century ?preferred buildings

We are thinking of heading to disney the first week of Jan. I just checked disney.com and saw PC is available when we want to go. Does any one know which buildings are going to be considered preferred? Or is it the view that is the differance between standard and prefered? Thanks for your help.

I would love to know the answer to this question too -
We are going in January also, and want to stay at Pop Century, but definitly don't want a view of the parking lot.
I want to know the BEST possible room to ask for !!

I don't know which buildings they actually are but I believe they are the buildings closest to the main pool if that helps....

I think that the 1960's buildings and maybe part of the 1950's buildings are the preferred rooms. The 1960's are the set of buildings directly out from the main lobby/food court building. The main pool (the Hippy Dippy Pool) is there as well.
