Pop Century Pictures

question for anybody here. We have stayed at the movies resort in the past and was thinking of doing so again in about 2 weeks. However, the pop century looks awesome, and we're kinda leaning toward it.
My question is, do they have the same food court etc at pop century that they have at the other(s)?

We've stayed at AllStar Movies and also AllStar Music as well as POP. POP is our fav.

Anyway the POP food court has similar meal offerings in addition to 'mom's night out special TV dinners' that really are not TV dinners and are quite good. Service is self serve just like AllStars.

A difference between the food courts is that at the AllStars the courts have entrances from the lobby. At POP you must walk through Everything POP Gift Shop to get to the food court. But that takes only 10 seconds.

We've never stayed at AS, but we loved Pop. The food court was great. DH, DD, and I did not have a problem finding a meal there. A lot of choices, and service was fast.

I like the Pop food court better for 2 reasons:
1-Pop has frozen Coke and blue raspberry slushies as a refill mug option

2-Pop has all food in the food court. At All Stars you have to go to the gift shop to get larger sizes of milk and things like that.

If you love ASMo you will Love Pop and the food court has many good things ! You will enjoy especially the kids with the frozen cokes!!! Try it I bet you'll love it!

We've stayed at All Star Movies and Pop Century and liked Pop Century better. We liked both a lot, just liked Pop Century better. It was more expansive, we liked how we could see different areas of WDW from the same resort, more colorful, and the food court was great.

The free dining Augusts have been extremely crowded no matter which value resort. But with the economy now, maybe it will be less crowded.

Unless they change the dates, Free Dining has always started around the 24th.

Lots of people are posting that they are getting free dining pins with a start date of August 15th. That's the day we would be checking out.
