I think I'd lean toward Pop. They have 3 pools vs. 2 at each AS plus I think the themeing would be better for a teen.

If you decide on an AS resort, Music or Sports might suit their tastes more than Movies.

Honestly?? Neither! We stayed at all-star once...that was enough for us! If $$ allows, try upgrading to a moderate...you'll be glad you did I think!

My family enjoys POP. We have stayed there 3 times in the past and will be going again the end of Aug. Never had a problem with noise, of coarse we are out enjoying the parks, going to the pool, etc.. so maybe we are too tired to pay attention to noise!!

Well right now I'd choose all-stars. Stayed at CP, All Stars and will be POP in October. Personally I like the value resorts....I thought the CP was too, I dunno, grown up..does that make sense?

Have to say at this point don't pick Sports! I was there last week and had the worse service I have ever had at a Disney resort. They have done away with Guest Services station at desk and so everyone stands in the registration line. When we arrived around 8:00 p.m. to check in there were only 2 CM available to check folks in and answer questions. Stood in line for about 45 minutes and when we finally got up to the counter some guy budges because all he needed was a new key to his room and his 2 yr old was about to fall asleep. I don't blame the CM's they were doing there best but counter was understaffed badly. We didn't get our Picture special info but at that point I wanted my bed more.

Everytime we tried to stop at the counter (different times of the day) there was always a line and no more than 3 working the counter. And no manager / supervisor in sight. We had problems with some things in the room and couldn't get help.

We decided it will a while before we go back there. We'll do the cruise ship in January with no parks this time.
