I have to say I was impressed what a good job they did. Each day I left a envelope for mousekeeping with three dollars and then a little goodie from our state.. one day while standing outside our room our mousekeeper walked by and said she hoped to see me and said thank you for the gift several times. Instead of leaving all money I was going to do 2.00 per person I decided to do something different. One day she got a keychain with texas on it.. the next a magnet and the last day she got a collectors spoon. I have to say we were left extra soap each day ( i brought that home lol) no animal towels but that is okay cause we came back to a very clean room... and it was nice that the mousekeeper went out of her way to make sure she said thank you to me in person.

Janet...
What a nice idea. I live in MA and would love to bring a little gift (or 2) for a mousekeeper. I just am not that good at thinking up little gifts with Massachusetts in mind. We are going in Dec., but there is no way I could bring some snow and sub-zero temperatures...besides who would want it! Not me, that's for sure, LOL. I would like to bring something nice that would be appreciated. Do you have any thoughts? TIA

Wow!!you're So Nice! I Work An A Hotel And The Housekeepers Work Very Hard And Not Many People Do Such A Nice Thing.

We just stayed at Pop at the end of June for 10 days and for most of our stay we had the same wonderful Mousekeeper! Her name was Hermelinda and she was great! We had towel animals every day that she was there with a very special birthday one she hand delivered the day we were checking out. My DS5 and I decorated tip envelopes before we left with Disney stickers and Mickey head punches. After the first towel animal I left her a little note thanking her for the special touch and at the end of the week, we left her some extra money above the amount we had already placed in her envelopes. She even left us a little note letting us know the days she would be off during our stay. Our room was always clean with extra soap and on most nights the boys stuffed animals were arranged on the bed with the tv remote close by for their little party. We have been staying on Disney property for years now, but Hermelinda was by far the best Mousekeeper we have ever had!
