I figured I would ask again. Can someone that has a Passporter scan a picture of the layout of the bldgs for the Pop Century?

I would really appreciate it. Have a great day,

I can't provide you with a map yet... but I can refer you to this aerial shot:

http://disneypix.com/2000ft/Roll2/Roll02_010.htm

Starting on the RIGHT:

Those three buildings on the right with the Bowling Pin pool are the 50's

The two buildings behind the Main building and around the Hippy Dippy Pool, those are the 60's, and I believe they will be 'Preferred.'

Continuing on to the left, the two building pair without a pool, that will be the 70's.

And on the far left, the 3 building set is the 80's/90's. 80's facing each other, and 90's on the end.

Great picture, Tyler! Thanks!

Questions:

It looks like there are 3 pool's, is that correct? They seem kindof small, do you think they will be big enough? It's hard to tell from the picture.

Do all the rooms have interier hallways? Looks like it.

Thanks,

Thanks,

3 pools, plus a Kiddie pool. The Kiddie pool is located next to the Hippy Dippy pool. Also next to the Hippy Dippy pool is Petal's Pool Bar. This is the only pool bar. The other two pools won't have that, since they are "quiet" pools. Not so sure they will be quiet, though, as they still look pretty cool. I personally like the bowling pin pool, although, I've heard some great things about the computer pool with spongy keyboard. We'll see :)

As for crowds, it's hard to say. With the exception of the 70's, each cluster has thier own pool, and they are decent sized. I guess only time will tell. I'll let you know next summer.

The buildings are set up the same way as the All-Stars, with exterior hallways, and 4 floors instead of 3. (Only the Deluxe's have interior hallways. All Moderates & Values have exterior hallways)

The info you are supplying for the new PC resort is great and appreciated!!

Will the food court be big enough to hndle the larger resort compared to the AS? Also, is there any kind of childrens play area at PC? My kids are wanting to see the big Baloo!!!:hyper: :hyper: :yo-yo: :yo-yo:

How is the size of the Classic Years compared to say the All-star Music. From the aerial photo, the buildings seem really spread out. I thinking, WOW! look at the walk from the bus stop to say the 1990's bldgs. At the end of a long day, I can hear my feet screaming - :)

Are the 1950's bldgs also prefered bldgs?

Thank and have a night.

Is there anything interesting at the 1970's bldg since they do not have a pool? Like a playground or something?

So Tyler, across the bridge if they finish it will be the 1900's-1940's? And what is the lake named?

I think when we go down we'll hop a bus over to PC and check it out. ::yes::

The food court is large, and should be able to handle the demand, as far as I can tell. As for a childerens play area, I'll have to get back to you on that one.

The buildings are not as condensed as the All-Stars. I think they did this because the buildings will have 4 floors instead of 3, so they wanted a bit of extra room. However, the buildings are arranged so that they are all fairly close to the main building. The only buildings that might have a bit more walking would be the 80's/90's.

But let's put it this way... according to my calculations, the farthest room at Pop Century is still closer than about the half rooms at All-Star Music.

Great info thanks!!! I am calling today to change ressies from POR to 2 rooms at Pop Century. I am booking the preferred section as I want to be in or near the Baloo icons and near to the food court and pool.
:hyper: :hyper:

We're thinking of staying at PC in late Feb. as we are coming down to buy our AP's for our upcoming family reunion in Aug. Do you think the resort will be crowded then since it is still fairly new?
