Hi everyone~ My husband & son are back!! Yay!! I drove up to Seattle on Friday night to pick them up at the airport. Like Alaska Airlines fashion, their flight was late & so I had to hang out in the airport bored out of my mind. It was 11pm so everything was closed. So, I ran back out to my car and grabbed my Birnbaum's WDW guide & sat there reading it until they finally arrived. Hunter was a sleep when they got in but I wanted to wake him up so bad just to give him kisses. I decided to wait because I didn't think a crying baby would be much fun in the airport. Well, we walked out to the jeep and the car alarm across from us was going off & of course that woke him up. He looked around like he was completely confused, lost & had no idea who anyone was. Luckily he fell back asleep after I gave him a few quick kisses. We left the airport & got back into I-5 South heading to Portland. At this time it was about 1am and I had actually still planned on being at work at 8am the next morning. Didn't happen...As we were leaving Seattle we hit road construction & had to sit on the freeway for about an hour. After passing the construction we were finally on our way back to Portland. We got home about 5am and as we barely stumbled into our front door I called & left a message on my boss's phone at work because I knew that as soon as I fell asleep I would be out for a very long time. I hated calling into work but I was just so tired I could barely function.

Anyway, glad to have the baby & my husband back. The week actually went by a lot fast then I had thought it would. I stayed busy & went to the gym (too bad I only lost 1 pound last week...).

I've gotta run, we are going to go for a walk to the park, but I'll check back in later today.

Oh yeah, the reason I quoted Keli's message...Keli, if you want you can add my husband's name (Will) and son's name (Hunter) to the list

Welcome Thurderbird! Make sure you are wearing your LGMHPC! I think we will be hanging around the resort when we arrive on the 22nd before our 6:10pm ADR's at Chef Mickeys....maybe we will run into each other before you take off!

Also, when did you call? I want to try to get some better times for a few of mine, but I kind of felt like it would be a waste of time since they were so booked already. GOOD Morning everyone!! ONE DAY CLOSER TO DISNEY!!!

I spent most of my day yesterday on the boards since I don't get as much time during the week (can't dis at work). I was SO upset last night when the closed the boards for maintence! I know it must be done sometime, but I was enjoying my DIS time. I stayed on the puter doing other Disney related research until after 12 and it still wasn't back up, so I figured I would let it go and hit the hay.

Now, I'm all fresh and rested and can Dis away again... after my walk

Hi Amber! Some of them they were able to just adjust number of people, some of them I rebooked totally. I never try calling first thing in the morning, I just call when I think about it. If you can't get what you want just keep trying. For example, I still need a table for 4 at 'Ohana on 9/21, but the only time I've been offered is after 9PM. Which is a bit late for the kids. I'd like something around 7PM, but I dunno if i'm gonna get it... But I'll keep trying for a while. Now, if you already have a table for 5, I would THINK that adding one more wouldn't be a problem, but I can't be sure. Good Luck!

We really enjoy the water parks too. I like TL better then BB because I'm too much of a scaredy cat to do the one slide that drops...I'm so scared of heights & I could not get the courage to do it last time & I know I won't this time either.

I also think it is fun to walk around Downtown Disney at night and also the Boardwalk. Watching all the people, the smells of the food, browsing through the shops, and just seeing all the activity going on is kind of fun.

A lot of people are planning on seeing Spectro/Wishes that night at MK and then meeting at the Hippy Dippy Pool around 10:00pm or so, sporting your best glow in the dark stuff so we can differentiate us DISers from any old guest
The 22nd is our arrival day with two little ones in tow so we probably won't be at Spectro/Wishes, but dh and I will be at the meet! Can't wait!

Hi peeps! My oldest sister called today and now she wants to go with us to disney!?!?! Thats great and all except she also wants to bring our 9 year old niece (other sisters daughter), I sooo want them to go but how hard is it going to be for me to redo our ADRS for 6 people instead of 4? She also wants to get a room at POP by us, but I have been checking all day and ALL the values are sold out. What do you think the chances are of something opening up at POP for free dinning?
Boy, just when I thought all my planning was done, she decides she wants to go-I dunno about this. My husband is concerned because this sister tends to be REALLY pushy and bossy and he cant stand to be around people like that, so we'll see how this goes down however my neice has never been to disney and has always asked to go with us when we have went in the past (her mom cant afford it, single mother with 4 kids) but her mom would never let her go before but she is willing to let her go this time so I will be soooo excited for her. anyway what do you all think about redoing ADRS and chances of a pop room opening soon? tahnks for letting me vent
