Pop Century is sold out for my dates!!

I called right at 7:00, CM picked up at 7:01.

PC is sold out for my dates (August 26-September 4)

I was able to book PC for my coworker. (September 2-9)

We're still going. I booked Sports (YUCK).

I'm going to call later and see if I can change it to PO. Of course I didn't think of that until after I hung up.

I'm planning to call everyday until June 24 to see if anything opens up at PC.

The CM told he's 99% sure that Labor Day weekend are the dates that's giving me problems.

I would just keep trying for someone to cxl.. I am sure it will happen.. especially when they don't send in the deposit money.. I would try back in just a week or so..

Sounds to me like the people with Disney Visas got most of the rooms. How the heck can they sell out a certain hotel on a set date in one minute? Sounds like they did not hold over that many rooms, if any at all.

CM told me the resort is not sold out, they only allocate a specific amount of room for the package.

sorry to read your preferred choice was sold out, but maybe they will open up more rooms as the dates get closer. Last year we didn't book because the dates were originally too early and then they extended the dates!!!
When we called for many of our dining reservations they were "full" but about a month before our trip (I kept calling) there were a lot of openings and we got what we wanted. Literally our pick of dates ans times.
Also, I have been to sports twice and love the layout as compared to the other resorts. If you can't chenge, at least a day at disney is better than a day at home/work

No pop or Movies available for free dining Aug 26 - Sept 3 Had to settle for Music, The CM told there are only a few rooms left at Music and there are some available at Sports as far as values go.

I'm in the same boat as you guys! Will also keep calling daily so if POP is available, maybe some of us can grab it.

at least we got the free dining! Think about the poor folks who were shut out because of the dates....I think they would settle for any value or mod (even deluxe!) in order to get the free DDP. We should consider ourselves lucky!

It is odd because I think you said this on another Thread but yet other people after you said they got it around the same dates you are talking about. I am thinking that maybe just a handful of people this morning called and and maybe had POP for the 2nd choice switched so the room might have popped up for a sec and then when it did it was gone the next sec with a new booking. So you might want to keep checking back today to see if it pops back up for you dates!!!Good LUCK!!

We couldn't get Pop for 9/12-9/16 either. The only value options were Sports and Music so I figured we'd try Music for something new. I think at this point I'm just thrilled that we're squeezing in a trip this year!
