We rode past it many times on our trip last week. The 90's and the 50's buildings seem to be completed on the outside. There are other buildings that have no adornment whatsoever, and just look like a Comfort Inn from the outside. The signs for the gates are up, but no lettering is on them. We never saw any workers over their either, and we went by at all times of the day. The gates are barricaded off, so we really couldn't get a great view. What we did see was colorful and bold.
I understand that this resort is tacky to some, but as my husband pointed out... if some parents can talk their picky teens into staying at a resort that says " Yo" and Whas Up?" it was all worth it. I hope to go to the grand opening, just because I have never been to a grand opening of anything Disney! I would like to see business at WDW pick up so that they can open this resort. It seems a shame to have a half built resort there gathering dust!
