Pop Century Icee Machine

I was wondering if POP still has the icee machine on the drink station. My DH will be so disappointed if it is not there. That was actually the deciding factor as to which value we would choose!!! If it isn't there anymore....I will need to start preparing him now!

well it was in May - although most days it was broken.

I stayed at Pop in April and they still had them, unfortunately, they were not in working order most of the time. I was disappointed about that but I am sure they have them fixed by now, have one for me!

Oh Man...I hope it isn't broken down. That would be a real bummer.

We were there at the beginning of May and they were always working everytime we wanted to use them, which was usually more than once a day! There was coke and blue raspberry flavors at that time.

Whew! I'm glad to hear this. We also chose Pop for the free dining offer, believe it or not, based on the icee machine! I have a son with renal failure who is limited on fluids, can't have calcium (or lots of other things) and for him this is a really big deal. Since an icee has alot of "air" he can truly enjoy one without it affecting his fluid restriction too much. Since there's so little he can eat, drink, or enjoy, having the icees gives him a real treat. We would be so disappointed if the machine was broken.---Kathy

i LOVE the icee machines at POP. when we went last July, the first thing that we did when we got back to the room at night was run to the machines!!! They are soooo yummy!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure they will be working; if they aren't, then Disney sells great icees at AK. there's a stand right in front (or at least really close) to It's Tought to be a Bug. the icees come in pink lemonade or fruit punch flavors. they are extremely delicious!!!

Hope they're working for you! We stayed for a week last June and the icee machines were broken about half the time. DD was very dissapointed since she loves icees! I will say that I thought the food court at Pop had a pretty good selection of other foods and treats; I think ate that cheesecake with the marshmallows on top every night!
