POP Century/Free Dining September 2009 (Journal Pages added)

We're really doing it! I put the deposit down on a Free Dining package today! And, I got the very last room at POP for September 21-26!

DH (32)- Brian, Daddy, Snuggle Bunny
DS (3) - Big Brother, huge bundle of non-stop noise-making, question-asking energy
DS (7 months) - Little Brother and a huge bundle of adorable

I went on three one-day trip at the age of 3 (Magic Kingdom), 7 (EPCOT) and 10 (MK again) and have been wanting to go back for years. Now, with free dining, we were able to get a package that didn't make the husband faint dead-out at the sight of it!

Like I said we will be driving down from Arkansas, it will take us 2 or 3 days. I figure we will stretch it out since we have such little ones and we can arrive by lunchtime Monday, Sept 21, check-in at POP and be at the MK in time for the 3 o'clock parade and dining ressies at Liberty Tree Tavern. I am trying to get those chained to Tony's, per the DH's request, but with free dining, we pretty much had to take what we could get. No Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare, but we did get Crystal Palace, Donald's Safari Breakfast, 50's Prime Time Cafe and Les Chef de France.

I am so excited, I can hardly stand-it!

Well, I told DS(3) that we were going to Disney World which was probably not my smartest move . . . everyday he wants to go and last week at Bible School, his teachers told me that he answered every question 'Disney World!'. 'Where can you see fire?' 'Disney World!'. What did Moses say to Pharaoh?' Disney World!'.

So to help (or so I thought) I made a paper chain with the links representing the number of days until we go to Disney World. I thought this would help him visualize. Um, not so much!

We let him tear off a link everyday so he can see that the trip is getting closer.

Instead, he tears off a link and says, 'I ready to go to Disney World now!' So we say, no, we have to tear off all the links first. So, then he says, 'Can I tear all the links off now please?'

I wish we could! If it was up to me we would go tonight, but I think we will enjoy it a lot more with fewer crowds and more mild weather. And the free dining, of course!

It's getting so close! I'm so excited, but nervous too! We are driving down and it will take us two days. I'm just worried about how the baby is going to do.
