We will be staying @ Pop for the first time in Jan. on a non race or MLK week. We have always stayed mod or deluxe and would like to know what you have eaten at the food court recently that was very good or bad and why. We will probably use quick service dining. Thanks!:goodvibes

they have good breakfast platters there. I enjoy the variety combo and using the QS credit you get a drink and fruit or danish.

We've used our snack credit for the tye-dye cheesecake which is so pretty and tastey.

We were quite thrilled with our cheeseburger baskets since it was pretty late and they had been sitting there for a while. However, the next night, we got a pizza to go and took it back to the room. Well worth the price. A few trips ago, my father-in-law got an Asian meal from the Specialty Shop and liked that very much. I would say that if you got anything that was freshly or almost freshly made, it's going to be good. If it's been sitting around like our cheeseburgers were, it's not going to be great at all.

Chicken Penne Alfredo with Breadstick so yummy
Breakfast pizza (better than the buffet ones IMHO)
Sundaes!
Those are my favourite but I enjoy their bright neon orange cheese sauce on french fries haha

The food always looks decent at the Pop Century food court.

What is your schedule like? Do you feel as though you will always be at Pop during the lunch or dinner hour? Try switching it up some nights - try the Quick Service locations at other resorts, and those inside the parks. Try Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD! Don't limit yourself just because you'll be sleeping there!

The Chicken Penne Alfredo was a huge hit with the entire family!!

We always stay and POP and love their food court.

The meatball sub is devine! And I don't usually eat them, but theirs is so good.
The parm chicken dish is very good. As well as their pizza. It is a pretty good deal for 2 CS credits you get a large pizza, 2 drinks and 2 desserts. We always take ours and eat by the pool.

Every night they have what is called "mom's night out dinners". Each night is a different entree, like fried chicken, turkey and dressing, meatloaf. Haven't tried them yet but hear they are delish.

As someone said they have a sundae station and you can use that for your dessert if you wish. Just have the cashier mark your receipt and you can come back up to 90 mins later and get it...so you can eat without worrying it will melt.

Of course the TieDye cheesecake is very good as well.

So far haven't had anything bad there.

I loved the cheeseburgers, chicken penne alfredo and the shrimp lo mein. Tye-dye cheesecake is yummy too!

DH and I stay at Pop every year (branching out to POR this summer!) and we both really enjoy the food court. DH's favorites are the meatball sub and the chicken penne alfredo, and mine are the turkey sandwich and the pizza (which is the same pizza they serve all over the World...). The brownies are really good, as are the muffins and the tie-dye cheesecake.

We stayed at POP this past Dec. DS got really sick:sick: 1/2 through our stay. DH and I spent a LOT of time eating at the food court. After that week we consider ourselves *unofficial experts* of the POP food fare. ;)

Things we had and what we thought:

Turkey Ciabatta - I LOVED it. I had this a couple of times. :lovestruc
Asian Chicken Salad - DH liked it.
Chicken Caesar Salad - I thought it was just ok. It had the processed chicken strips (which I am not a fan of) and the lettuce was really soggy from tons of dressing.
Chicken Mediterranean Flatbread - DH and I both LOVED it.:lovestruc
Cheesesteak Wrap - DH had it twice and both times it was really greasy.
Cheeseburger - I loved it. Not that it was anything special...it was just fresh and hot and not greasy. The fries were hot and crispy. :lovestruc
Meatball Sub with Salad - I see that a lot of people love it... I hated it. It was really bad. I thought the meatballs had a terrible texture and the sauce was ick.
Beef and Broccoli - DH liked it.
Nachos Supreme - DH LOVED them. Had them twice .

We all tried the infamous Tie-dyed Cheesecake. The kids liked it, DH thought it was OK and I didn't like it at all.
Anything we had for breakfast was very good. We also appreciated the variety of snacks there.

Love Pop's foodcourt, lots of choices. I had their vegetable lasagne with salad and breadstick last week and enjoyed it. My brother had the chicken penne alfredo and liked it and my sister ate the penne with marinara while her kids got plain penne and everyone enjoyed their meals. We got brownie sundaes for dessert, only thing I didn't like was the brownies were cold and I prefer mine warm, oh well still good.

In the past I've gotten the vegie lo-mein, very good and my parents when they went in May got the vegie calzone and enjoyed it.

For breakfast their POP waffles are awesome. I also tried the choco. chip pancakes, not bad but not super duper. My brother got the bfast pizza and liked it. I've gotten the platter last year and didn't care for it, eggs were dry and taters were not too good.

Love their choco. muffins and danishes are good too (same at all foodcourts I think).

We did the quick serve plan too and did also eat at Port Orleans Riverside to get their pasta your way and salad your way.

We most of the time ate breakfast from there our last trip. The brekfast platters are big! Three of us shared two, no problem. A couple times we split one plus and snack credit for a extra side and had enough as well.
The food was hot and quite good!

It's all pretty good but you know what is really good and often overlooked? They have a "Moms' Special" each night. Different items on different nights (ie: Monday might be Fried Chicken night). They come with a roll, potatoes and a veg and they are really tasty.:goodvibes

We love the chicken alfredo....ate it 3 times on the last trip there!! The brownies and sundaes are awesome too!! I am a true Italian and will not eat meatballs that are not homemade...but DH loved the sub! I didn't know about mom's specials so thanks for those tips...might have to try them in sept!!
