Last August, my sister and I stayed at POP for a week. I remember one night after MK closed, and it was 1½ hours :earseek: from the time we lined up at the bus depot until we got back to the hotel....at 12:05 (no bedtime snack/tea for us). :faint: In talking to people at the time, this didn't appear to be a one-time fiasco. :confused3 It was really annoying watch bus after bus come for the AS resorts and nothing for POP.

I'm taking my girls and DH who haven't seen POP, yet, so I chose that resort (love the food court). Has the bus situation improved?

I was there last month and we didn't have any huge issues with the frequency of buses. But, we no longer head right to the buses at park closing. We either relax and hang out a bit, or leave before the fireworks. The one time last summer that we left MK at park closing, we waited for about 30 minutes for a bus. I think 90 minutes is a bit excessive. Hopefully, that's not the case anymore. I thought they dispatched buses based on the numbers of people waiting.

The only time we had a long wait for a POP bus after park closing was about 45 minutes on a Monday when the MK closed at 10:00pm. FWIW, that was a day that the UG said to avoid the MK.

When we were there last month we never had to wait more than a few minutes for any bus - but then again, we didn't stay at any park until closing.

Last Sept at MK, on a Sat. after Spectro, we made the mistake of leaving right away. The line went along the fence all the way down to the first bus stop in that section!

I don't remember how long it took, but it went much quicker than we expected - there were often 3 buses loading for POP at the same time.

Not a comment on the bus thing.. but just an FYI the food at the food court has changed (significantly IMO). Earlier this year, they went "global" which means that alot of things are now made at a central facility and distributed out to the different hotels.

You can forget about all the funky awesome salads and sandwhiches they had. It's alot more like the All Star. They now have a chef salad (with iceburg lettuce and cheap ham, turkey and cheese which are loaded with salt) and a ceasar salad (not soo bad.. atleast it's better greens) I think they are down to 2 sandwhiches - Turkey with Brie and Tuna. They don't have hummus to go anymore (you can still get it at one of the stations but it's like $4 and there are no chips!)

I talked to the chef one night.. I told him the food at Pop! was the reason we stayed there.. it is really hard to find healthy choices on property, even harder at the resorts, and just impossible at midnight. He was very nice, and made me a salad from the italian station, with a really yummy vinaigrette.
