PoP and checkout

I had a question about check out times. I believe check out is at 11am but our flight isn't until 4pm. Doesn't the ME pick up 3 hours before your flight (1pm)? If so, would the resort allow us to check out of the room later than 11am or would we be able to leave our luggage at the front desk and enjoy the pool until it's time to catch the ME?

Pop doesn't allow late checkout but I believe you can have your bags held at the front desk until time for your ME departure. When I was a Pop in April I had a rental car so I'd just packed up the car with our luggage.

we do this all the time as well... There is never a problem to leave your luggage w/the me baggage service. There will be a little desk where you can drop it off and if you are flying they can even have it at the airport for u...
just keep time in mind & make sure ur there when they tell you the bus is going to pick you up... I have seen many people miss it and I hear it becomes a big problem for them to jump on the next bus....

Be out there EARLY! We were sharing a bus from AKL and POP to go back on ME. The bus was full to the brim and NOT everyone at POP was able to board.
