Been here since Sunday staying at Pop for the first time. I’ve been amazed at how long the bus lines get at Pop. Is it always like this? I’ve also stayed at ASmovies, BW, CS, and POR and this is by far the worst I’ve seen. Pretty much every bus leaving and going back to Pop is filled with ppl standing.

Then I look over at AoA lines at the parks and there is barely a line at the non peak times. Even at night after the parks close there is 2 to 3 times as many ppl waiting for Pop busses to come vs AoA. So I’ve taken AoA busses the majority of the time and just walk across the bridge.

Does anyone else do this and is it normal for Pop to be this much busier than AoA?

We generally find that buses come quite frequently to Pop. It’s the biggest resort, so buses fill up quickly and yeah, that can mean a lot of buses with standing room only.

We’ve had the same bus experiences at AofA. Sometimes buses are packed, but they seem to come quicker. And yeah, we get into the shortest line when leaving the parks. I’m glad that the AofA and Pop buses are side by side. It makes bus hopping easy to do. :)

Pop is a very large resort, so it stands to reason that the buses will be full.

POP has approximately 1,000 more guest rooms than each of the three All Star resorts but the same number of scheduled buses per hour so it makes sense that it’s lines are often longer than others.

Just hop on the AoA bus and walk from the lobby, across the bridge and to your room. We often do it the other way around when we miss the AoA bus.

It was the same way for us when we went in May. We actually did a split between POP and AOA. I found the buses at AOA to be a lot less crowded. POP is the only resort where I've had to wait multiple cycles for a bus.

Pop even has about 900 more rooms than AoA, although 70% of the AoA rooms hold six people. But not every room is occupied by six people, so it would make sense those buses would be less crowded.

1,120 suites x six people = 6,720
864 LM rooms x four* people = 3,456
Total 100% occupancy = 10,176
vs
2,880 rooms holding four people each = 10,948, minus two each in the 143** king bed rooms so 286 = 10,662 people.

*assumes no king beds because I couldn't find any information. F there are about the same 5% as at Pop, this number drops to 3,370 and the total occupancy to 10,090.
** relatively certain, although I haven't calculated since before the renovation.

Same number of buses per hour during the day maybe (about every 20 minutes). Around park opening and closing times Pop gets a ton of buses to deal with the higher volume of guests. The lines get long, but move quickly because buses come one after another.
