She reported to jail right after the awards show, apparently. I love that when you sign on and view the news, Paris Hilton's jail stint is the first thing that comes up. I knew there was a reason I go to the BBC for world news...

it was breaking news this morning when she reported. All the early morning shows were doing it as their lead stories.

We had major news happening this weekend with the JFK plot, the debates, but Paris going to jail and Lindsay going to rehab are the top stories. I love gossip more than anybody in my family and I even think its over the top.

I don't feel sorry for this girl... no matter what is said about her. She's is one of those sterotypical "mean" girls, a spoiled brat who gets airtime for what??? A total waste of air time. I think if she wants to act the way she does in public... then she's made herself a target. Oh well...

Paris Hilton brought ALL of the scorn and humiliation on herself. I do not feel pity for her at all. Keep in mind that Sarah Silverman (a relatively well-known comic...she's married to night time talk show host Jimmie Kimmel), probably didn't write much of her material, and what she did write was approved by the producers.

I personally don't care for Sarah Silverman because I find her delivery awkward (it smacks of effort) and she just aint a;ll that funny. But Paris IS a joke all unto herself and got what she had coming.

I don't think she wanted to ever end up in jail but in true Paris fashion, she will turn lemons into lemonade. She has built a business on being Paris. I find her likable. I think she learns from her mistakes, unlike her mother.

I may be the only person alive who thinks that this junk has gone too far with her. Shouldn't Lindsay Lohan be carted off to jail? I mean, hello, they found coke in her car. I think Paris is being singled out because she's a "poor little rich girl." So she's said and done some questionable things in the past. What "celebrity" hasn't? I think some people think that the world will come to an end and evil will swarm all around if she doesn't go to jail.

well, I hate for anyone to feel bad but Paris acts like she is above the law and above everyone else. what exactly has she done besides being born rich? She certainly isn't a good role model or anything. and when the audience laughed and cheered about her going to jail maybe it was a wake up call to Paris to let her know exactly what the world thinks of her. People may kiss her butt while they are with her, but behind her back they are really laughing. Sad because she could do so much with her celebrity.
