Well at least Chelsea had the guts to go for all four trophies and Man Utd had a good go at three (they threw the League Cup), Liverpool threw the League Cup and the FA Cup and once again were not good enough for the Premiership so they threw that too (playing a reserve side on saturday against Portsmouth is one instance), so they could concentrate on the Champions League and even then they had to scrape it on penalties as they also have done to win 2 European Cups, 1 FA Cup and a League Cup, just imagine 4 trophies won without actually winning them by goals scored in normal time. Fabulous achievement.
But I'm proud of Chelsea's record this season, already winners of the League Cup, semi-finalists in the Champions League, a down to the wire title race and an FA Cup final to look forward to all with crippling injuries to top players throughout the season.
But the one thing that sticks in the mind is that Liverpool have NEVER won the Premiership and next season will be the same as they will trail Chelsea and Man Utd by the usual 15-20 points.
