Poor kitty-bladder stones

I took one of our cats to the vet yesterday and they found that she had 5 bladder stones. She's having surgery today. When I saw that she was having difficulty, I was hoping an antibiotic would help, but no such luck. My regular dog/cat vet is out of town in Orlando. Lucky him! I took her 25 miles to the vet who handles our horses and she was able to see her right away and will do the surgery. She is also about $150 cheaper than my regular vet. She'll get to come home on Monday.

I hope your cat feels better soon! My cat had the same surgery about two years ago.

Seems to be either more prevalent or diagnosed more these days. 3 of my cats over the last 10 years have had to have this surgery. All went well, even in the one that was 17...good luck to your furry friend.
