Poor Jerry Junior....

I actually do feel sorry for the kid. He is just a kid, and "probably" (likely) did something very stupid that he'd just like to forget. But, no. Dad's not going to let anybody forget, so now in order to save face, the kid has to go along with this debacle. He's probably really stuck between a rock and a hard place right now.

That's what I imagine anyway. I could be wrong.

I feel sorry for the boy too.:sad2: ...He is only 15 after all. he could be horrified at how this has escalated.:crazy2:

He'll never have any hot girls calling him "Tiger", without him flipping out.
(I know, kinda lame).

I hope he's not into golfing either.

That is pretty much what I think as well. Who knows.

I agree. Who didn't do something incredibly stupid and embarrassing as a teen? This kid got stuck with litigious parents who broadcast his idiocy across the country. If my parents had ever done that to me.

Sorry the smirk on his face makes it hard for me to feel sorry for him. He is a brat and deserves some embarassment IMO.

I agree that he's probably caught up in a lie and doesn't see a way out.

But I don't think everyone has done something like that. I didn't. I did some dumb stuff, but nothing that affected or hurt anyone else. The kid has some "punk" in him, I think.

Maybe this whole thing will teach him that being a punk doesn't pay off. But maybe it'll teach him that it does, which will be bad for him in the long run! Not that his parents care.

But then again, if dad's telling him he can get $4 million for playing along, I find it hard to believe he wouldn't want to keep up this charade. At 15 he'd still be naive enough to believe his dad that they have a legit case if he just keeps his mouth shut (unless spouting out a rehearsed line or two)

Some embarrassment: kids his own age teasing him a bit in school.

Mortal humiliation: being talked about and berated all over the news and internet.

Best part it, if they get a dime for the kid it will go into a court ordered trust that no one will be able to touch without court permission until he's 18. Courts are loathe to allow any type of PI settlement or award to be taped into for anything but medical or edcational needs. So that X-Box 360, quad, and whatever aren't going to happen. Plus the attorney's cut, court costs, and expert witnesses will eat up a good half of any award.

Oh, and even if the jury finds "Tigger" guilty, it doesn't mean they need to award the family a dime. The family would still be liable of any out of pocket costs incurred by the lawyer, including expert witness testimony and arbitration fees.

Morons.

I'm sorry, but at 15 you know the difference between right and wrong, and this kid knows what he is doing. So the only one I feel sorry for is Tigger.

I'd be willing to bet they're already pricing out new cars, looking at listings for new houses and who knows what else. Chances are they'll never see a penny and end up so far in debt because of the costs of pursuing this bogus case.

I wouldn't be surprised if they start spending part of their $4 million well before any of this gets underway. Dipping into savings, "we don't need it! We're going to be millionaires!"

Just my hunch . . . people with that many dollar signs in their eyes aren't likely to sit quietly and not think about how they'd spend it when they get it.

Ok, I must be out of the loop (again--no shocker there). I started reading the Tigger thread and I watched the video. Has something come out that it was all staged/planned or are we just speculating that it was?
