Poolside Bars

Does anyone know the hours of the poolside bar @ All-Star Movies? DH and I are going without kids in September (anniversary trip) and we thought it would be nice to have a drink by the pool after a long day at the parks.

I think that its 12am, at least that's what it was at music last year...

And by 12:00, do you mean ends at 12?

Sorry Sharky, I should have worded my original post differently (Just got carried away at the thought of a week in the world with just DH ) What I meant to ask is what time does the bar close? I would think that all of the All-Stars would have similar hours.

That's ok, I'm tired, but not sleepy (makes no sense) and was wanting to double check. I really thought they would close earlier than midnight, but am glad they are open that late

My and Babboo can sneak down and grab a drink! Are you allowed to take the drinks back up to your rooms?

I think you can bring them to your room, at least you could in 2004. DH was going to Petals poolside @ Pop and I asked him to bring back a pina colada for me since kids were already asleep. He came back with my drink, however, he had to buy his beer in the gift shop as bartender would only serve 1 drink. They must have some kind of policy that states only 1 drink per person "to go".

I don't think so. I seem to remember last year at POP that Petals was open when we were coming in from the parks. BUT POP is just busy (in a good way) that sometimes you couldn't tell if it was noon or midnight by all the acitivity going on at the Food Court, Petals and the Hippity Dippity. But I really think that bar was open.

I'm pretty sure that I saw signs at the pool bars at both the Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge saying that the pool bars close at approximately dusk. Maybe it's different at Pop Century; I've never stayed there.

I think it also has to do with at the values the pool bar is the only bar.

I know when we stayed at ASsports and it was the only bar it was open to midnight. I know at POFQ, we had to go inside to Scats, get the drinks and bring them out to the pool, because the pool bar had closed at Dusk. Two trips and we were never back in time to actually get drinks from the pool bar.

Just got off the phone with customer service and was told that the Pool bar @ ASMo (Silver Screen Spirits) closes @ midnight.

That makes sense about it staying open later because it is the only bar at the resort.

You're right Maelstrom, I didn't even think about it being the only bar. Seems like I remember Petals @ Pop was always closed, but they have another lounge in the lobby area next to the arcade.

is open til midnight for sure. Classic Concoctions, the indoor bar is open til whenever it is not crowded. Sometimes it does not open at all. AS Movies bar is also open til midnight. So is Caribbean Beach pool bar. All places I have been, and also been for last call. Always at midnight (well 11:45 PM is last call)
