I was wondering if the water temperature of the pools is still warmish during this time? I haven't been to Florida this late in the year before. I've chosen Nov. 28-Dec 4. These dates are not set in stone though.

Hi DLBDS and welcome!

The WDW resort pools are heated so no need to worry about the water temperatures. It's the air temperatures that will give you a shock when you get out of the water!!!

We were there the week after Thanksgiving in 2004 (great time to go BTW) and the water was fine. The air was chilly in the mornings, but by mid afternoon a dip in the pool would've felt good. Of course, the determining factor is the weather, which you won't know about until you get down there. While the water would be warm the outside air might be a little cool, but personally, that's not a big deal to me. Of course, this is coming from a guy that got in an outdoor hot tub every day while skiing at Whistler up in British Columbia this past January. Nothing like getting out of hot water into single digit temperatures to get the blood flowing! :cold:

Pools are heated, so their temp remains consistent (82 degrees, I think). But it's the air temp that will get you. We were at WDW the week before Disneyfamilyoffour, and temps were in the mid to upper 80's every day, so swimming was very enjoyable. The next week, temps were in the 60's, too chilly for most people to spend much time poolside. So you never know. Best bet is to check the Orlando weather forecast just before you leave, so you'll know what the temperature trends will be for your week.

Thanks, Bob! I had no idea they were heated. But, hey, you know how kids are. They don't care about the little things like cold-air-shock. She will love getting in the pool. Now, if I can just get the girl to learn how to swim! (She doesn't want to get her head under the water.) Anyway, she loves getting into pools and we don't have access to them at home....her parents aren't pool types.
