Pools at Resort Hotels

Hey all,
I was wondering about the pools at the Resort Hotels. I am going to be staying at the Grand Californian Hotel but can I still go to the Disneyland Hotel or Paradies Pier and swim in their pools or only in the pools at GC?? Just wondering, thanks!!

unlike WDW, at DLR pool hopping is allowed!

I have not stayed at a DLR hotel, but I have read that pool hopping is allowed between Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier only. Grand Hotel guests are the only ones able to use the Grand pool, but they are not granted access to the other two pools.

Like I said, I don't have any first hand knowledge, just what I have read on internet boards.

I haven't read the rules about GC guests pool hopping, but we go to DLR a lot, and I've often seen guests wrapped in towels returning from the DL pool to Grand Californian.

in the past, guests of the PPH could use the DL hotel pool, but not GC. Guests of the DL hotel could not use the GC pool, and vice versa, guests of the GC couldn't use the DL hotel pool.

That's not to stay that some guests haven't pool hopped, because it is relatively easy to get in without a key, but wasn't allowed.

With the remodel of the PP hotel, maybe things are different now, but that's the way it's ben since GC opened
