Pools at Disneyland Resort

Are the pools currently swimmable at the Disneyland resort? I've read about the recent rehabs/refurbs but haven't seen any recent posts about the status of the pools. We're headed to Disneyland, CA for the very first time in June and want to make it a memorable experience. Any recent photos or advice about the pools is much appreciated!

The pool at the DLH is still under construction, but they do have a pool still open. GCH refurbed their pool last year. Keep in mind you can only use the pool of the hotel that you are staying in. Your room key will give you access to the pool.

Thanks for the info! I know when CBR was going through a pool refurb a couple of years ago down at WDW my friend was staying there and said that their swimming pool experience was not good.

In June it will likely be done and what hasn't been rehabed will restart in the Fall.

Currently the bigger pool is open. The smaller old pool gone and they are building larger waterslides over it's location. This is planned to be done for summer. If you do a websearch for the disneyland pools you might find a site that has a photo update of what's happening. I saw some from last week and work is getting real close to being finished.

And, while the slide is not open you can use the pool at the GCH, you just have to ask at the front desk for a pass. It's an exception due to the refurb.

When I called this week they said the pool was scheduled to be open in June but that was not likely to happen because of all the rain. She said every day it rains, the opening gets farther and farther. She did not mention that we could use another pool.

Are you in for a real treat. Disneyland is amazing. Congrats NEIGHBOR!
We were told last year at the GC that all the key cards work for all the resort pools otherwise like someone stated above just ask.

I'm willing to bet they will be done by summer. Find more current photos, In 10 days things have progressed quite a bit.

Keep in mind you can only use the pool of the hotel that you are staying in. Your room key will give you access to the pool.

I thought you could use any of the resort pools as long as you were a guest at one of the resort hotels.

If the pool of the hotel you are staying at is under construction you will be permitted to use the other pools,but if your hotel pool is operational you will not be permitted to pool hop.The pools are gated and locked and your hotel key is your key to the pool.
