Pooling Points

Is there any way where multiple people can pool their point together to make one reservation? I know you can transfer points but you are limited to only receiving or sending them once per use year. I have a situation where three of us want to reserve a grand villa but none of us have enough points to do it. Together the three of us would have enough points.

Separate reservations but no guarantee that the room assigner will allow you to keep the same GV.

You could all rent out reservations, get the money then rent a reservation from an owner who has enough points for the stay. It will cost you but it would work, maybe the rental agent would cut you a deal.

My sister and I do this all of the time.

We each book X number of nights under our memberships and then have them linked. We are associates on each other's membership, which makes it easier. Before we added each other, we used to have to make a 3 way call to member services. You just need to explain to them exactly what you are doing, so they can link everything.

Our last trip had 3 different membership numbers. We booked everything online and then spent about an hour on the phone with member services linking it all (we had 2 rooms and switched resorts midway.)

Disney will do their best to help you. Just give them a call. But I think the plan to have each party book part of the trip makes sense.
