Poolhopping to the Swalphin?

Wife and I are planning to spend a non-park day on our July vacation in the Epcot resort area (Beaches and Cream, anyone?) and were wondering about pool options. We are DVC, and whilst we know we can hop to the Lunapark and can't hop to Stormalong Bay, we can't seem to find definite information on the Swan and Dolphin pools.

Can anyone please chime in with:
a. are the Swan and Dolphin pools available for DVC pool hopping?
b. are they terribly busy mid-July?

I'm gonna say no... But more importantly... Why? We did not enjoy either of those pools as guests of resort!

A. No, as they are not owned by Disney.
B. Yes.

Nope, they aren't included in the dvc pool hopping perk.
I've stayed there before, and have seen people being asked for room keys. I would imagine that they are probably fairly busy in the summer.
I would head to Luna Park if you want a swim.

I would find it a hassle to do so, even if you were allowed to.

I love the pools at the Swan and Dolphin, but wouldn't make a trip over to use any other resort's pool.

We wouldn't have been making the trip over there for the pools necessarily, but in the July heat we were definitely planning to take advantage. Lunapark it is, then - creepy clown head notwithstanding.

Why not just head over to Fantasia Gardens and play a round or two of miniature golf? There is a DVC discount there.
