pool vacuuming question

We just got a brand new above ground pool and vacuuming is HARD!!!

I just cant seem to get all of the leaves off the bottom. I just got done doing it and thought it was all clean but 5 minutes later, there's still leaves on the bottom

Should I invest in one of those automatic pool vacuums?

Any good suggestions? I dont want to spend too much since we just put out a lot for the pool and the deck. I found one that is only $149, looks like a bug or a whale. Are they any good at such a cheap price?

I have an inground pool, but I LOVE my pool vac. It was not inexpensive, but it is the best investment. My pool is screened in, but still gets debris from plants and pets, etc.

Is this the one? Hayward is a reputable name

I have an in ground pool, and my vacuum is a different brand (Zodiac Baracuda) and more expensive, but my pool pump is Hayward and was highly recommended by my pool company.

We have a brand new above ground pool and we have the Ladybug. It seems to take forever to clean the bottom of the pool.

an automatic pool cleaner is a great investment. why skimp on that when you just shelled out big money for a pool. turn it on, go to bed, and your pool is clean in the morning...sweet, or worse case is every hour or so, you need to empty the basket or backwash.

I have a cheaper automatic pool cleaner and it works really well...only thing is that they recommend that you have at least 1 1/2 HP pump for best results. I also keep a solar cover on at all times when the pool is not in use and it really cuts down on the vacumming. I vacuume around once a week as long as the solar cover is on when no one is in it.
