Does anyone know if we are allowed to bring pool toys at the resort pools? In particular I'm talking about the little floating rings, etc. Thanks.

I can't say I noticed any "rings", but the kids did have the arm floaters on. And they were only $2 in the gift shop!! This was at ASMovies.

BTW--I'm from New Castle!!! :)

you can bring noodles, arm floats, dive rings/sticks, little beach balls, bucket and pail (for sand play), little watering cans. Anything small and personal is ok. Not OK are the big lounger floats, rafts, etc.

Some of the lifeguard CMs actually have little dive toys that they keep around. We were at POFQ last trip and the CM grab a bucketful of rubber duckies, rubber fishies, frogs, dive thingies, and started throwing them around the pool. The kids (there were at least 7 or 8 kids) absolutely loved this. The kids would gather them up and give it back to the CM and she would in turn throw them out again. This went on for at least 1.5 hrs.

Thanks for the advice. We are staying at the WL and was going to bring something small for my 3 and 5 year old to play with. And ribbot, I was just in New Castle this week-end. Hope you had fun at ASMovies.
Thanks!
