I searched this forum and searched HOJOs boards but didn't see any info if they have pool toys. Stuff like noodles and floating things, etc. Can anyone confirm if they have/don't have stuff like that?
thanks!

I have been there 5 times since last sept, and never seen pool toys. We have brought our own small innertubes (like 16") and small beach balls. I will warn you that sometimes the garden pool might be too crowded to use larger things- that is where I would presume you would use things like noodles- the pirate pool area has a small hot tub, but no other pools that would be deep enough for them. I'd suggest you call and ask if they are allowed?

Hojo doesn't provide free pool toys for guest use. I have seen pool toys being used in the pool while I was there, but, of course, that doesn't mean they were allowed. I have seen pool toys for sale though in the Hojo gift shop, so I'm guessing that they are allowed.

Hi there!

Unfortunately we do not provide guests with small pool toys or “floaties” but they are available for purchase at our gift shop; you are welcome to uses these in any of our pools. If you have your own that you would like to bring from home, you are welcome to use those as well. :cool1:

Hope this helps!

OP- check out the dollar store for some great, cheap pool toys!

I like to buy a cheapy intertube or a ride on float- like a dolphin or shark and then I will leave it at the hotel pool for the next guest. Or have DS "gift" it to another family before we leave. This way, I only spend a dollar or two, teach DS about giving and I don't have to pack it and drag it home!!

And personally...if it's crowded in the pool and there's just not room for DS to splash around with his pool toys, then it doesn't go in the pool. We try to be considerate of others. And this goes double for beach balls. Nothing makes DH more upset like a couple beach balls bouncing around while he's trying to relax.:rolleyes1

Amen. We may bring some pool toys on our trip but we'll only bring them out if the conditions are right and we'll monitor the conditions as time passes. On our last trip the garden pool seemed a bit sedated and the pirate area isn't very conducive to most pool toys.

Totally agree! DS really only gets to use the pool toys in the garden pool. Of course, with all the excitement at Pirate Cove, he doesn't even ask to bring pool toys.:thumbsup2
