Some of the resort feature pools are larger / smaller. For example, Beach Club /Yacht club have a very large feature pool including a lazy river, whirlpool and sand bottom pool. Others vary in size and water features. Hope that helps :0)
All different shapes and sizes, Just at POP you have 3 pools with one shaped like a PC monitor, a bowling Pin and a flower. There are pools with zero entry and as lala5176 had mentioned one with a sandy bottom. Mods and Deluxes have slides where as the values do not. All ears is one place to get info http://allears.net/acc/faq_hot.htm
The pool at POP seemed very large but very crowded. Jambo was the largest and most uncrowded. However, I'm sure if we visited at any other time the opposite could be true. BC, while a favorite doesn't have the open pool feeling of something like BW.
Interestingly enough, the main pool at Art of Animation is the largest pool on Disney property. And having stayed there and used it, I can vouch personally -- it is huge! But it's not technically a feature pool, because the value resorts do not have slides or other such features. However, it does have the unique feature of audio playing underwater.
