My DS will have his 11th birthday on our next trip. I wanted to order a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery and maybe surprise him with the cake and have a small celebration by the BW pool. Do you think this would be allowed?

I don't know if they'll deliver it there, but I can't see why you couldn't do this, if it's just your family and not a whole big thing.

It's one of those "Easier to ask forgiveness than permission" things in my book. :)

As long as you are staying at the BW and your guest are too I would think it is allowed.

If you are staying there you can certainly take a cake to a table and have whatever type celebration you want..just no glasses. There is nothing to ask...people sit and eat all sorts of food/pizza/drink whatever and have all sorts of personal celebrations (isn't that what this year is about anyway). There will be no questions.

The Boardwalk Bakery had a really cute Mickey Face cake that counted as a snack credit on the DDP the last time we were there.

Have a great Birthday Party! That is so cool!
