Are children allowed to bring any type of water toys or floats into Disney resort pools? I hate to pack things that we won't be able to use.

I've seen all sorts of toys in the pools at WDW resorts. I have not ever noticed larger floats. I would think those would be very annoying to other guests.

I h ave taken little things, like balls, swim sticks, stuff like that. I have seen some noodles, but they are probably people who drove to WDW or bought it there. The only problem I had was when DS was using the sticks.....they are weighted and you have to swim to the bottom to retrieve them. When we were at AKL he threw them too close to where the slide enters the water and the lifeguard told him to move away from there so that he didn't get bumped into.

We always bring pool noodles and balls. Swim rings are allowed, but they must be clear. Swimmies (arm floaties) are allowed but all resort pools also offer life jackets for your use free. I prefer the life jackets as there is no chance of it coming off.
