We just moved into a new house (September 1st), and there is a 24 Round above ground pool in the backyard. The pool was never opened this summer, as we have officially owned the home since May 31st, and the sellers were renting back from us while they built. We live in Minnesota, and with winter upon us, I called the sellers to ask if we needed to do anything to get the pool ready. She told me that it was winterized last winter, and never opened this summer, so we dont need to do anything except siphon any extra water off the top of the cover and tie it down tight. She said the chemicals from last winter will still be there.
Can anyone verify this to be true. Were very excited about the pool, and dont want to ruin it with our lack of knowledge.
TIA!!!!
