Pool question- not about hopping

I just added two nights to my existing 10 day trip (Friday and Saturday)- and leaving Sunday. I booked the two nights at AOA and then I am then transferring over to POP. My question is- on Sunday- will I still be ok to use the pool at AOA until our room is ready at POP? I know you need to use a key to access the pool at AOA- but I don't know if the key is deactivated at 10-11 am (check out time). We can leave our luggage with the Bell service- but can't go to the parks as we don't have AP's, already have ten day tickets purchased and you can't add any days to them without going to AP's- which is too much $$$$. Anyone know if my key will still work that last day after the official checkout time? Thanks for any info.

You are free to use the resorts amenities until 11:59PM of your check out day. So you'll be fine. It's the same for people who have late flights home, you can hang out and use the pool, etc for the whole day.

I walked there during my August rip from POP to try out the food court (yummy)- anyway- we wanted to take pictures while we were there and couldn't get any great theming shots because the gates were locked. Maybe they only lock it during the busy summer hours-- or because it was so new?!? The little Mermaid section was still under construction . Thanks for tip though -
